Some smartphone users can develop pain in their hands, especially after a day of texting.
Physical therapists say overuse can even lead to injury. They recommend smartphone users keep health and wellness in mind:
- Take frequent breaks.
- Write fewer and shorter texts and social media posts.
- Avoid thumb typing. Use other fingers, if possible.
- Don’t bend or flex your wrists.
