For women with high-risk pregnancies, comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care is available locally through Salem Health's maternal-fetal medicine clinic and neonatal intensive care unit.
Direct care or genetic consultation is provided for women with medical or surgical disorders that contribute to high-risk pregnancy such as heart disease, high blood pressure, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, kidney disease, gastrointestinal disease, lung disease and infectious diseases such as HIV.

Care for pregnant women with multiple pregnancies or those at risk of preterm labor, preterm rupture of the membranes, or recurrent pregnancy loss.
Detailed ultrasound examinations as well as diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis.
Basic genetic counseling, prenatal screening and diagnostic tests.
