Meet our team

Community programs

The CHEC provides the latest health care information not only on our campus, but also out in the community.

Outreach presentations

Would you like the Community Health Education Center to visit to your school or community group to talk about health? We can also organize field trips to the CHEC. There is no cost, thanks to the Salem Health Foundation.  Here is how it works.

Request a free speaker

The Salem Health Speakers Bureau is a community service for local clubs, organizations and groups of 15 members or more seeking speakers for programs. Learn more here or contact the CHEC at 503-814-CHEC (2432) to request a speaker.

Car seat safety

Want to learn how to install your child’s car safety seat for free? Trained technicians will teach you. We also check for recalls, size and age best fit. We can also receive and recycle any expired car seats during our events.

Take the 5210 challenge

The 5210 in 30 Challenge emphasizes four lifestyle behaviors to help you lose weight, eat right, stay active and prevent chronic diseases.
