Event Draws Record Crowd

The West Valley Hospital Foundation’s 14th annual Moonlight and Vines dinner and auction, held in late August at the new Nesmith Readiness Center in Dallas, had a record crowd of over 200 people, and netted $41,000.

Proceeds raised from the event will be used to support projects and services funded by the West Valley Hospital Foundation, including equipment; scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers; and the Connections Van that provides rides to and from the hospital for patients in need of transportation.

West Valley Hospital staff, volunteers and physicians donated creative items for the silent auction including:

  • Espresso Yourself
  • Rollin’ on the River Rafting Trip
  • Incoming Fog; An Original Photograph
  • Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice Basket
  • Mt. Hood Murder Mystery Dinner Train Trip
  • Willamette Valley Wine Tour
  • A Day at the Seattle Center
  • Anytime, Anywhere BBQ
  • Self Indulgence Basket
  • Traditional Paella Dinner
  • Clay Pigeon Shoot and Gourmet Lunch
  • Romantic Dinner for Two

Items from hospital physicians, volunteers and employees raised $3,600 for the Foundation.

The event’s Presenting Sponsor was Spirit Mountain Casino. Gold sponsors were Capitol Auto Group, Meduri Farms, and Turner construction.
